ive got a decent sized lathe, that could do most the work.
i might go with cast iron, difference between solid ally and cast iron is 3kg-4kg, cast iron one would weight about 6-7kg in total.
the difference in cost is hundreds.
but they might very well not be available in ally, due to strength

Hi

When I looked carefully the one I found was also cast iron

 :(

Know anyone with a milling machine and a dividing head?

If you check online you should see them listed but they’re not cheap! A quick Look suggested £250!
