For those that haven't been there Loch Awe is a 24 mile long freshwater Loch in Scotland. It has significant history and contains several castles, medieval churches and graveyards and many neolithic crannogs (man-made single- dwelling islands). A day cruise is around 60 miles to cover the entire shoreline with many stops.
