You're right---Relative weight of salt water is almost the same as rain water
1.026!!!
I had a boat that seemed to plane out better in seawater- but this is clearly not the only thing inside my mind and no where else! ::)
We were listening to that band in the log cabin weren't we!

Thanks.
Fresh is the same as salt - except it doesn't eat metal!  No tides either which makes things a bit more predictable.

Music is Nightwish: Last of the Wilds - a Finnish metal band playing Celtic-sounding music!

Oh Gosh, thats a superb Video. SO atmospheric, walking thro the Castle, and it looks like the best way to get there is indeed to hover?
Was the fresh water any different to fly on ref density?
My only excursions onto "fresh water" are the Severn waters which are scarcely "deposit free"!
Where is the music from, as again atmosphere is evident in chunks.

Im STILL ketching up here so my video will be published - "soon"1

Spent the day exploring the archaeology and heritage on Loch Awe.  Four castles, a couple of churches, a few graveyards and many Crannogs.  Nice to be on freshwater again - and in such beautiful and interesting surroundings!
