You could always buy this one - it's orange and got blue flashing lights so it must be good  :P (bought by the Red Cross as a rescue craft four years ago for £30K and never been used  ::) ).

Gazza, It's a Hovpod with the 120 hp Weber engine.
It worked a hell of a lot better with the 50hp Rotax.

How to get over hump (if you can spot it at all that is) with 22HP - no spray, no hassle

If they want to pay me £100K (up front) I'll go and sort it out for them. But as Kip says, they won't listen to advice and they're in their own little dream world thinking they've got a fantastic product.

At the very least that craft needs a dramatic change of lift to thrust air ratio.
The thrust comes in far too early for a comfortable, controllable cruising craft.
I washed my hands of the craft a long time ago.
I built the first craft and it was a dream machine.
I wanted one.
Given up trying to talk to them as they just wont listen to any advice.
The video is a nightmare!!!

It's definetly rear heavy,  Even when on hover the rear is low & spray over the front.  Perhap we could send them a set of templates for the rear skirt, which will help a wee bit.  But me thinks it needs some work on weight distribution or maybe fit a lighter engine.

I wonder why I am thinking along those lines? :-X :-[ :-[

That's just horrendous on every level. Bad craft, bad driving etc etc.

Ah, I didn't know the 'standing start' was a performance test! that would account for the lack of time spent draining/blowing the water out.

The hump performance isn't exactly impressive - especially with 120HP installed and only 2 onboard it should be barely noticeable.

They have reviewed a few other craft (see HERE ) with some interesting results  ;)

Nice ball of spray ::)
2 things;

1) looks like he needs a bit of training!
2) Gav's going to have a field day with this guy standing up.
