Thanks for your comments - and here are the answers
You are correct camera is attached to my chest
The red cord is attached to a kill switch, its placed in front of the handlebars.
The camera is a gopro HD http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/gopro-hd-camera.html I use a few packages for editing, this one was Imovie on the mac, a little limiting but fantastic if you want a quick edit.

Good movie and what a great trip! How the hell did anyone know where they were going! From that camera angle it looks like a moon surface....
 
What camera did you use? and what did you use to edit the film? very arty!

The red piece of string tied to the handle bars, is the other end tied to you camera or something else?  Initially I thought it was the kill cord but then I noticed it is tied to the handlebars and not a kill switch

This is the route taken for the Sunday run. It was good value for a novice cruise, but the conditions were absolutely ideal.
