i am not going to steal marks fire by telling you what he is getting, i will leave that to him. All i can say is 'what a craft', and all credit to mark he has not gone for the eBay special but waited for the right craft to come along. i think his Patience will be rewarded, big time. cant wait for it to arrive and get out for a blast up the Tamar with him. congrats on the wise decision buddy

Father Christmas is coming to someone early this year then ;D

I hope you enjoy your hovercraft.  Does your wife realise that she will be a hover widow now, as the hover will be the focus of your attention for the forseeable future ;D ;D

There was a sevtec vanguard for sale on here a few weeks back, not sure how much they wanted for that craft.

Still for sale so far as I know, its a good craft and in great condition.

Build a Sevtec surveyor :)

Every other member will tell you to build or buy a different make. ;)

It will obviously depend on what your budget will run to.  Expect to pay a lot of money for a capable cruising craft, as they don't come up for sale very often.  Most of the time on ebay its the wooden homemade craft you see, that would not be safe in a puddle let alone the sea so avoid those.
