I am delighted to say that I got them all wrong apart from taking the effelump out of the fridge.
I think that at least it proves I am cleverer than a 3 year old.

That is very impressive! It would have to be in Australia? Don't forget they still chase sheep and big animals with small Robinson R44 helicopters....

I doubt that would ever be allowed in the UK..... I never flew like that in the RAF but the Army Air Corps is another story! They are a great bunch!

Plus imagine the insurance!

I do remember one event where Noel Edmonds was working the speakers whilst some volunteers from the audience operated some rather large "flight controlls" on a stage whilst a pilot in the background flew a Bell 47 in the direction the controlls were moved! If you follow what I mean...

They then flew in a fire fighting Bolkow BO105 with an underslung Bambi bucket of water, and emptied it on top of Keith Chegwin who was stood on top of a tower! That was a good move!

The Police helicopters were originally only flown by ex-AAC pilots, not RAF, as the AAC are trained to fly low... it then got to the point that no one wanted to fly helicopters as it did not pay well(!) but now they take anyone....

Great show though, is there no end to good stuff on wimp.com?

Sevtec Scouts and Vorsprays have a different way of doing it :)

Indeed so... A low bridge acted as a gateway between us and a few more hours of cruising. Philip's GP flew straight under, whereas Chris Daly & I had to do some rapid estimations as to whether we'd fit under. Both of us had to drop off of the cushion and float under with not much room to spare.

Cheers

Chris
