Is there a reason for there's white froth on the surface inside the dock? 
Will you be allowed to run a discrete metal detection over the area, as surely money and objects were changing hands in the environs, and in medieval times metal detectors were few (and far between?)
Lets hope you get a mention in "Mens Medieval Times" or a pin up centre fold?
You could feature in your Radio active control suit with gas mask and fetching old shoes sporting a trodden in blue rubber glove with added resin to add that Je ne sais Quoi? The secret of course is to arrange the glove so as to "inhale" through the finger portion to simulate respiration of a trodden on blue throated frog (from Gambeenia) rarely seen nowadays in polite society. It's a skill to quote Kim. 
"Blue frog arranging" is a recognised night school course held by some of the more enlightened local parishes. 

Returned to the medieval harbour today, this time with a local archaeologist to measure and record it. They are all getting very excited about the whole thing! Today we measured it all accurately using some augmented gps kit, and produced a 3D model of it. This involved slowing boating past it whilst the archaeologist recorded it for post processing into 3D

Return to the 'lost' medieval quay on the Severn. On further examination, I think it's a carefully sited and designed harbour suitable for a Severn Trow (traditional Severn boat). It is located and designed to protect the boats from the Severn bore.
