Finally managed to take the Surveyor out for a fly on Loch Carron.  The weather was perfect, so would have been rude not to.  The last time that I went out in it, I was having lift issues.  I finally seem to have sorted that.  New lift belt and ensuring it's properly tensioned.
I launched from my normal site at the Battery park.  I was going to go right and head towards Plockton, but I went left up to the top of the loch.  Stopped on the beach for a while, then headed to the far side of the loch.  From there we headed up the river Carron, but our path was blocked by a tree across the river and the banks either side too high to fly around it.  Turned around in the river and headed west towards Attadale.  Beach was too stoney to risk properly landing on it, so I just landed the nose on the beach, so I could take a couple of pictures.  Next we flew to the avalanche shelter, then headed straight across the loch to where we launched from.  We decided to fly back to the top of the loch again, then back to the launch site and loaded the craft back on the trailer.  We were out for a couple of hours, about an hour flying, the rest was spent taking pictures etc when we stopped.
