That’s a shame indeed. I can attest to the quality of the build, I was down there a couple of months ago when it was nearly finished. I hope someone keen buys it and has fun.

Hi, that's a shame for sure. I reckon she'll be snapped up. I noticed how quiet that engine is. Is that muffler one of the S. Steel, diesel type. I've seen similar on eBay & I'm looking around as the original one is way too heavy. Thanks & cheers from Oz.

Here it is... The post I feared I'd have to write!

FOR SALE

The Sevtec Surveyor built for 1387 (Liskeard) Squadron Air Cadets.

This craft, 7 years in the building, is now for sale due to the Air Cadet top brass now being so "Risk Averse" they wont let the cadets use it!

Most of the build can be followed here;
https://hoverclub.org.uk/index.php/topic,6489.100.html
There are quite a few gaps as I couldn't get anyone to sign up to the forum and update the posts.

Here's a quick video of its first proper test flight;

The craft is powered by a Briggs and Stratton vanguard EFI engine. 600mm Hasconwing 4Z lift fan and a 72" Ultralight Propellor. It comes with a custom built trailer that has undergone trailer testing.

It's built mostly to the plans with only the upper deck undergoing any customisation. It is in the Air Cadets livery as it stands, the stickers are all self adhesive vinyl and can be removed

Selling on behalf of 1387 Squadron. All profits from the sale will go back into the squadrons Civilian Committee's Cadet Welfare Fund bank account for the benefit of the cadets.
