I dropped a pair of pliers whilst replacing a fuel hose in the engine bay a couple of days ago - they dropped straight into the skirt feed port and then into the skirt itself. It was late so I thought I'd try to manipulate it back to the drain port to retrieve - but, of course, completely forgot by the next day!. Anyway, after an 11 mile cruise leg I pulled up on an beach and a pair of pliers appeared on the shore! Couldn't get much luckler than that !
