Warby - you're correct!  8)
The young lady between myself and Iain is John Giffords daughter who races.
John designed a personal cruiser with quiet centrifugal lift fan and quiet large thrust fan, last seen by me on the thames HCGB 50th celebrations.
His firm (Griffon hovercraft) is one of success. A VERY difficult industry to succeed in.

The hover truck as far as I know was the last hovercraft Kip designed & built.  I remember seeing it in the workshop while it was being built, I cant remember what year that was though.

Today is set to pour most of the day, and as the report says it will not get better.
This is lateral speak for "Get Worse"!

The Severn is up 3m and rising. All OK here as long as it goes back down before the next big tide - peaking on the 24th. Suspect I'll be getting the sandbags out again  :o

Oh - and the environment agency are on strike so the flood warning system is "on automatic". Doesn't matter, we ignore them anyway.
