Danny's films are subtlety inspirational. Atmospheric reflective scenes showing loch Etive at its winter best.

I make no apologies for posting yet another of this guys vids from a few weeks ago - the visuals from Loch Etive are stunningly beautiful!  Reminds me of our Sept trip (Nick/Steve/Ron may recognise the beach early in the vid!) AND last years November trip with Steve.  I'll be back there as soon as I can - hopefully joined by some of you guys!

I wonder if he would narrate my films? His  accent SO fits with the scenery.

Thank you for posting this John. Absolutely magical. Just the thing to watch on a cold, damp December day after having to attend the funeral of a dear friend today. Really enjoyed it and the delivery style of the fella. Loved it....

Yep - he's been making videos for years if you check his YouTube channel.  He seems to get around a LOT!

Even Loch Fyne a few times!

I'd really like to hover-visit some of the places he's been - maybe get him to supply the weather forecast as he seems to pick the best days!  This one is just spectacular!

The chaps got a very nice voice and delivery. It really adds something to the film. I guess I could try to emulate, but it perhaps would come out as Stanley Unwin visits Yorrrkshuh ::)

It depends on which of the big brothers is doing the watching!  Google monitor your location even if you don't use an App (unless you turn off stuff).  You then get targetted advertising (from any Google "partners" - i.e almost all businesses!) and filtered search results, all based on where you've been near AND who you've been interacting with (they know that from other peoples phone locations).  Most is just a pain but the filtering of data is a big concern for me as it reinforces your experiences rather than opening them up (I've been  using DuckDuckGo as my search engine for many years).

Anyhow, there are plenty of tracking apps around but none (I could find) that'll animate a route AND allow a video clip download for later use.

Google Maps Time line appears to work well using your mobile phone, (Providing its got GPS)
Every month I get an email and open it on my desktop computer. It shows where you have been, dates mileage etc all free.
See attached
It logs all your movements without having to think about it

It's pretty easy to do.  I used this app which needs a GPX file (from a satnav or chart plotter - or you can draw your own in the app or on Google maps).  Google Earth Pro can also make animated routes (with more options but a bit more complicated to use).
