Chris Knight doesn't appear to be a HCCUK member.
The engineering around the elevator does not seem to be "adequate" for a WIG  ie a "plane" !? :o
Once you start throwing "working" engines away (to which I agree!!!!)
you can end up with a load of stuff, to NOT use- so why would you buy stuff to throw away / sell on
then buy other stuff to replace it, then do the joining up engineering etc-
There remains so little that you perhaps were better off buying a working craft and making it work better??
He looks like a really nice chap and wish him well.

That is pretty much my view also.  It would be a shame if the hull and bits just sit there deteriorating and not get used, maybe try and sell the hull & engine separately and possibly reduce the price of the package, to make it an appealing deal for someone

I haven't seen the hover, but Chris the guy trying to sell it contacted me a couple weeks ago asking if I knew anything about the hover, as he had just been left it in his uncle's will.  What make/model it was etc.   He had plans to complete the build.  He sent me a few pictures, but none of them had that elevator on the back.  I told him to join this club but also ditch that 2 stroke if he intended to finish the craft, as 2 strokes are too noisy and fuel hungry for a cruising craft.  I also passed on K&M products details.  Not sure if he took any of my advice and joined this club

Anyway that's all I know about this project

Not sure if this will work, but a link to someone on Isle of Skye selling an Eagle 4 part built kit.  Chuck the engine out and replace with something less thirsty.  Anyway I have nothing to do with this sale, just trying to help out someone I know by passing on the info.
