I hope Mike is paying the going rate for your efforts Ian!  ;)

Mostly in cider. It’s traditional round these parts.

Beer and cake is also a good combo!  In fact, the right type of beer goes with absolutely anything  ;)

Scone and beer, sound normal to me. You have taste those scones to appreciate how good they are!
There's no such thing as bad weather, you're just wearing the wrong jacket!!

Glad to see the pub opening.  About time.

But too windy for cruising today so I helped Mike with his Surveyor instead. It’s getting there. Getting the prop bearings off was “interesting” but they’re in the workshop now. One more session to put it back together, find somewhere flat to trim the skirt and then it’ll  be in the water for trials

Ian.

Beer and a scone, must be a Scottish thing as it wouldn't happen over here, :) :D

File Name: A pleasant surprise!
File Submitted: June 20, 2020, 4:37:05 PM

Arrived at around 11:30 to take a cycle ride over the hill to Glendaruel (320m peak - a lung burster!) and, as expected, a closed Oystercatcher pub. On return back down the hill to my surprise it was open!. Take away only and a spaced queue at the door (two people counts as a queue in these parts!). A lovely chilled crafty beer and a scone - what more could you want! on a sunny day!
