3610Km by inflatable hovercraft (Beetle-4, powered by a couple of Chines Lifan engines 9HP and 14HP?) definitely makes us look like amateurs!

From reading the linked forum it looks like the family over-winter in a wooden cabin (Aug - May!!!) before continuing to explore the rivers and lakes.  Some spectacular scenery but I'll bet the temperature was a bit serious!

Craft is interesting being fully inflatable - skegs have good (durable)  and bad (high drag) points.  Must remember to always carry an axe  :D

Kudos to the Russian that won't be stopped! What a journey!

Thats an impressive hovercraft - it would be cool to see some of those over here.

Full story thread is HERE (Google translate struggles with Russian but some of it makes sense!)
Interesting inflatable skeg hovercraft - obviously very durable!
