I wondered if you got caught in that!  Something serious will need doing with that road at some point. This weather is amazing, I stood by the Severn and got blown over, all the flooring got whipped out of the craft by the wind. No hovering today. But at least the flood banks are doing their job, I do feel for those who have been suffering in the past few weeks.

Caught on camera this afternoon whilst driving down the 4 mile old military road "bypass" for the A83 (which is closed due to landslides - yet again!).  Was a 25min wait but better than the alternative - a 40 mile detour.

This old road (single track) has been used so often over the last few years that it's been completely  resurfaced!

Story is HERE.

Nope!
Bacon sarnies are UP THERE with chocolate covered goffres with extra chantilly pish-pish cream.
I once bought Ian (bacon) Brookes a bacon sarnie on the banks of Langstone harbour one early morning before we met up with the harbour "master"!  I believe its the only reason he remains friends with me!

I just watched a heartwarming video of young children petting a pig.
The pig had no rear legs and had been fitted with a little carriage type rear axle.
Very touching.

Ah, sorry about that. If it helps, or does it make it worse? Max Von Sydow's cameo character is very decisively 'cut down' in the opening sequence so this knowledge does not effect anticipation of the plot. His character 'Lor San Tekka' does have a full page feature in a new Star Wars 'visual dictionary' so maybe he will miraculously return in the sequel? I like Von Sydow he plays interestingly strong characters. He has a great 'artist' role in 'Hannah and her Sisters' - (maybe I should shut up and join a 'movie' club!)
