Just to add - I have Adblock Plus installed & active on my browser (Safari on OSX) and I can see the map.

Yes there is definitely an advert blocker on the Asus which does not show the world map and I am sure there is also an advert blocker from a while ago on the MacBook which does show the world map.

I get the world map when using a MacBook but do not get the world map when using an Asus lap top.  It's Steve Jobs v Bill Gates?
