John, I think they needed a nerd to test it for them and my name just came up.
Does that make me a pioneer ??
Fortunately I have a whizz kid neighbour who can sort out any problems as they appear.
Already though I do like what I have discovered.

Early reviews are positive and they seem to carried out some pretty extensive testing but, being Microsoft, I'd still give it a few months before using it  ::)

Just discovered I can't do Smileys or change any features, eg text size, colours ,etc on this forum.

Thought about this the other day but being slightly computer illiterate thought I would wait to see if there are any problems!

Downloaded Windows 10 yesterday.
All went well but it would not recognise anything to do with Internet Explorer inc all of my shortcuts.
When you go over to Microsoft Edge  which is brill and so fast however all is OK.
With Edge I don't think you need any other browsers
No more passwords and loads of good stuff.
Lots to learn but a good move.
I look forward to hear what the PC maestros have to say.

Hi Nick,, not prevalent but occasional, but 8 earthquakes in a few weeks is a bit worrying.  ??? Scale seems to be diminishing so maybe the episode has passed... :-\ ...Bundaberg, ( 80 k North of us) is an extremely flat area but has an ancient volcanic cone near the CBD. All the "Well to Do's" live on its' slopes to get the view "Don't you know"..They may be in for more than they bargained for if this keps up!... ;D On a more personal note I just finished a big renno on the bathroom & kitchen,,don't need those new tiles coming off the walls!! >:(

I was not aware earth quakes were prevalent where you live? Are you "Oooop North" near the pacific ring?
I once felt one, and it was decidedly weird. :o
