I fitted the new one as per the old one.
Again I will check in the morning though I suspect it may only go the one way because of the HT lead length.

Probably a stupid question but is it fitted the correct way round?

Stop/kill wire not connected however  there is a oil level sensor again not connected.
Ie, there are no other items connected.
Is it that the sensor must be connected to say all is well?
Will try tomorrow

Does it have an oil level sensor?

The only other thing is the stop/kill line. Wired the wrong way round?

I was given a 5.5 kva Honda generator as not working.
No spark, so bought new coil which comes complete with lead and cap.
Still no spark which is puzzling  as the system is so basic.
Loads of magnetic pull on the flywheel sensor.
No other electrics involved. Just the flywheel, coil, lead and plug.
Yep , new plug.
Any clues would be much appreciated as it is a long way to the amenity tip.

Got my hovercraft back, was thinking about legal action because he was being a total Richard, but did the next best thing and phoned his mum, got the keys to the barn whilst he was away for the weekend and went and got it. He went metal at me on the phone, strange person.
