Drag flaps are used for segments to hide the scoopy bits, but the Sev skirt being smooth doesn't have said scoopy bits!

It just strikes me that if segs will scoop water, then surely a bag skirt will be like towing a lilo sideways ? That said it didn't seem to be a issue when over hump but 22 bhp is a bit low for coastal cruising so anything to give a bit more speed ? Flat out was 24 kts.

. and remind me never to wear gender neutral attire on a club event !

Seriously though a properly set up Sev does not need any type of drag sheet.
