Amazing - He really is a homebuilt hero - He should be a captain of industry but most likely over regulation (which our culture now loves so much) lets people like him slip through our fingers.

Saw a similar thing happen to a young girl on a pedestrian crossing when I was a teenager and mobile phones hadn't been invented then!!! Hope he came off better than she did. We all do stupid things on the road at some point in our lives but that person must have been in a coma not to see him.

What are the chances this driver was using a mobile phone?  Either that or he was driving with his eyes shut!
