"Eh- PAS possible"! seems to be enough Ian.
Gaz, I thank you for pointing out my error inferring a house hit my car.
This could not be further from the troof.
It was indeed a following car in front of the house.
WHY it was following the house remains a mystery.

My eloquence across the languages knows few bounds.
My favourite in Spanish is
"Ay Bocadillios, Que passa?!"
Generously translated as
"Eh up Bog Brush, whats apnin?"
Its a skill, and causes much mirth when accosting Spaniards.
Try it.
Its a blast.

Hovering there (1980 -85ish) was such a delight, but I gather now is "verboten" ;)
Interestingly, My car was crashed into by the pleasant house depicted in your last snap!
He said he wanted to get close to my car, but couldn't stop! (His words exactly)

I remember the sudden drop offs well. I nose dived my craft off a four foot bank and submarines it in the river. I still got it working again and then joined the others for lunch. There's a video of me arriving at the barbecue.

By the way, the advert is a shocking plug  ???

Please consider reading this 1987 article I wrote for HCGB mag.
28 years later it is still a glorious area.
Advert for a certain hovercraft builder can be found if you keep your wits about you----
