I am a knacker-man and its my job to go around collecting and putting down sick and dying animals, some of which are too "wild" to approach, (health and safety). That is very impressive! It would have to be in Australia? Don't forget they still chase sheep and big animals with small Robinson R44 helicopters....RN/FAA 'Junglies' are usually well furnished with brave pills too, covert insertion of RM booties requires flying between blades of grass using NVG; teenyweeny airways don't have a monopoly on helicopter mounted nutters.
I doubt that would ever be allowed in the UK..... I never flew like that in the RAF but the Army Air Corps is another story! They are a great bunch!

The Police helicopters were originally only flown by ex-AAC pilots, not RAF, as the AAC are trained to fly low... it then got to the point that no one wanted to fly helicopters as it did not pay well(!) but now they take anyone....

It could well be a craft from Phoenix Hovercraft also from Italy, it is another Neoteric clone but one as i understand it Neoteric do not have an issue with.

I remember someone fitted a 503 in a sev craft here a few years back .it did not go well as the engine developed twice the power the craft was designed for , to much lift air , the partition skirt brake didn't work so it was sold to some unsuspecting person and It was never heard of again .. shame really as the proper engine would have sorted it out then it would have been fit for purpose

It developed a problem with the condensors im surprised the guy didn't fix it. It had a seperate lift engine. It had no issues flying, intact for a sev it was quick. It also sold for very reasonable money in full working orde, which less than can be said for some craft sold recently

Pauls union jack craft I believe had one of the earlier small ducts on which SURE hovered well, just like Dave Ibbotsons. Mine was the larger quieter duct, (perhaps more thrust) but never quite hovered on her tips. Perhaps I weighed too much? ;)

I suspect that as FF don't manufacture racing craft Russ has decided to buy a proven craft for his chosen formula, and then use his facilities to modify it to suit him, as there isn't really a market for racing craft.

I'll do the lot except planting the bulbs for 5000euro plus you make the tea ;) . That is once you have Gaz PAT test the kettle lead. :) :) and we may need a hot work permit ;D

2 emails later followed by 3 phone calls I was advised that it had to go to the committee.
That resulted in the request to comply with Health and Safety and fill in a risk assesment.
This is so that alll parties are covered from the possible mayhem that may wipe out the neighbourhood.

Based on Phil's love of plant I am going with Caterpillar track guide rollers, the parts in the vid are lumpy bits of kit so must have to take a fair bit of abuse.

Of course this had to be compromised to turn it into a real craft, the main issue was the £25k it was going to cost to get a bespoke windscreen, and some issues to do with airflow at the stern.
I'll let you decide how well the concept translated into the real craft.

Looking for a small diesel engine automatic car for a non hovercraft project.
A polo 1.4 tdi comes to mind but an automatic is very difficult to find.
Good MPG and automatic essential. Cheapo even more important.
Only want the front 3 ft of a car.
Any ideas from out there would be welcome.

They die after 70000 miles. Head and piston rings. Full rebuild not difficult and parts are getting cheaper. Sold my full car with a rebuilt engine £500 tested with no faults.Obviously using the wrong engine! Maybe this would be better?

However, it's almost certainly a dodgy web site - for starters the "usual" price for scissor lifters is £500-1400+. That plus the worldwide carriage charge of £5 on a 45Kg part makes me pretty certain you wouldn't see either the goods or your money again!
