The Medway in Flames festival commemorates one of Britain's greatest naval defeats.
In 1667 the Dutch fleet sailed up the Medway and sank or captured the British fleet.
During the week there will be a series of events culminating in a pyrotechnic display at Upnor Castle.

We aim to be part of the activities during this event but I cannot confirm the exact details just yet.
Don't forget, this is in 2017.
