Marlin Maiden from the cockpit...

A really fabulous first-trip out on the River Seven in my recently completed Marlin with Ian in his Otter acting as mentor and all-round hover guru. Thanks Ian! 👍

Here's a short video from my perspective...

That looks great, really nice weather . Congrats on a job well done on the craft, I hope you get many more days like that.

Looks great Paul - well done :)

Great little video as well - I love the tune although I daren't Google the name of the band! ;)

At risk of embarrassing Paul, the build is one of the best I've seen. Very neat and great attention to detail. Which is why we had confidence to get to the Anchor, which is beyond reach of the "tug", on the first run

Thanks guys  :D

Kim: glad you like the sound track - seemed to suit the shots and the general upbeat feel of the day! I'm a fan of the band, they're Canadian and little known over here, but yes google 'The New Pornographers' at your peril!

Wow Ian, that's kind of you. I enjoyed the build and figured time spent on the assembly would hopefully mean greater reliability (and therefore pleasure) in the future. Time will tell if the effort pays off I guess...

Cheers
