Nick Flint:
Oh brill! Now you've got something to get your teeth into. Gofrit!
PM winging its way as we speak.
Al:
I've just bought a new Briggs 37hp EFI ;D ;D ;D ;D
It should be with me next week ;D ;D ;D
So Nick I should be able to supply you with any measurements you need.
Now will the TS3 be finished in time for Loch Fyne? :-\
Nick Flint:
Thanks Al, its good to have plan B in position prior to needing.
My old engine cannot last forever, and in my quest for REALLY reliable cruising,
fear I must eventually address the re-engine decision here--- ::) .
"Not yet" is the best I can summon so far!
Al:
Here is a link to the specs of the Briggs EFI. They are rated at 37hp.
I can't find any info on the mountings, but under options they offer a high speed package for up to 4750 RPM.
There is also a link to the power curve on this page.

Nick Flint:
Twas the carb version I was after as I gather the efi has different engine mounts. The supplier was looking into the mounts on the carb version when it all went quiet! Thanks for the info, as it gives me a start point. I gather the EFI is nearer to 40 than the carb 35? All not the actual; of course.
When we buy 35 oranges--- we expect 35 oranges not the delivered "of course theres only 32hp"! ::)
