Ive just remembered, we landed on a sand bank with a flock of approx 40 birds, about 30 feet away.
They were unmoved by Sparkle.
I got out, and they still carried on strolling around.
Jack got out quietly after one minute,—— and they flew off without delay.
Again (and again🤪) we see birds recognise PEOPLE as a THREAT, and hovercraft hold little interest for them
CONTRARY to RSPBs beliefs.
DOGS🐕 and PEOPLE 🕺🏼are seen as potential eaters/killers of birds, 🦉
Hovercraft????? I dont think so🤦🏽‍♂️

I see this frequently - if I pass a flock of birds standing up in the craft, they fly off. If I remain seated and don’t move, they continue feeding. Put another way, the escape distance for the birds I pass on the Severn is affected most strongly by the presence of a ‘human shape’ and least strongly by noise or craft type.

Can I join International rescue, land division please??😁😁😁
I "Rescued" two families this evening on Black Rock Sands, their cars had got stuck in rather soft sand!!
Drove straight up to them and towed them out, NO problem
LAND ROVERS RULE (At least on the beach)
