We tried heading west for fish and chips but weather forced us to turn around so we had to phone our delivery driver to cancel the order ;)

Hi Phillip.

Large propeller with small lift fan Your bulkhead enclosing the engine looks "similar" to an otter i.e. inverted V with rounded top. In white also!
and similar skirt to Otter/sev.
But your engine should be sooooo smoo00000th and the big prop a faint whuffle up the rear.
Who can say they don't appreciate "a faint whuffle up the rear eh? ;)

Phillip
Don’t know whether anyone has asked before, but what does NExAP mean?
Been wondering.
That's a very good question :) ;) :D ;D  and the answer is extremely simple ;) . Call over some day , buy me some drink, and I'll tell you. BTW Thank you for  writing it correctly.

Gee Phillip, thats really super  8)
1 Nice relaxing music, is it gaelic?
2 Judicious occasional brakeadge in evidence in the turns.
3 I guess with the engine and fan/prop configuration is this not the quietest H/C in the land? Discuss--- (but play nicely please)
4 "Next time i build-------------------aaarrgh     :o  skirt will perhaps be grey to decrease chances of saharan heat melting the glue on black skirts!!!
5 Nice droneadge. Is that DJI and I presume the passenger was flying it?
6 Again, a hearty well done for courage, marrying Beemer Sev and Otter)  "------Besotted"        ?     ;)

1. There's music? No sound when I loaded it to YouTube
2, Still learning, it has one hand throttle operation of thrust and lift (and brake)
3. A design objective was for passengers to chat easily while on board, this objective has been achieved. One reason is a slow spinning prop and relatively low engine rpm.  It will get even better when we do some engine/prop tuning and add sound deadening material.
4 Grey was a specific design decision, couldn't decide on colour
5. DJI Phantom 4 with VR headset, Operated by Jake Cooper from land.
6.Yes it's BMW Sev, nothing from an Otter afaik, ive only ever seen one for a few minutes. The drive system is completely different.

Your craft certainly looks great on the water.

Fantastic - it looks great on the water!

(With or without the 'e' is good by me)
A certain club member finished off the last bottle I had, although he deserved it for helping me with the skirt, he's not getting his hands on this rather special bottle unless he comes over again :) :)
