What a shame no one has been able to take advantage of the superb weather down here for the past few weeks!
I take it there will be no Porthmadog 2017 this year?
A couple I know from Borth y Gest made one of their "camping trips" to the elusive island  Ynys Giftan  yesterday.

More likely to be quickies rather than long term booked "extravaganzas!"
unless some one else is able to take on the job? Been caught out by long booked dates which turn out to be poor weather, so "customers" hedge their bets over attending (understandable).
Ive nearly finished building my Otter "Sparkle" so that will be JUST ready for Loch Fyne, then I TRULY hope that I shall be hovering (rather than long term building)

Porthmadog many years ago!
Yes it is a U-boat,  one from 1st WW bought by a local scrap dealer (after it was surrendered in 1922) and broken up on the foreshore!
The rather large crane was installed for unloading parts for the Trawsfynedd Nuclear Power Station c1960
