WRONG !  Once you retire you don't have a moment - it makes working look easy :-(

I'll second that! Being retired has meant that Susurrus is still not working properly and Citrus is not yet finished :'( . Far too busy all of the time to settle down to do what I want to ??? . Happy Christmas to one and all.

Its not lack of interest, but lack of TIME ! roll on retirement, 1800 hours gained back to find FUN  things to do !

That sounds great Ian. May need advise on where to fit lifting eyes and now would be a good time to fit as I can still glass reinforce areas before finishing and painting.
Cheers Dave

Should all be done soon into the new year with luck and then would be happy to meet up.
Cheers Dave

If you fancy a run in the Severn fit lifting eyes (I launch by swinging jib crane). Now a really cool run would be Gloucester to Bridgewater!!!

Hi Dave, I am always ready to show off my playground, I hope your build is going well (even if slow) and your Surveyor will soon be ready to fly.

Hi Gaz
I'm just up the m5 near Bridgwater and had hoped to be able to do something but the rebuild is taking rather longer than I thought.
I bought the black surveyor that was for sale in Liverpool and the plan was to complete by Christmas but no where near yet.
Should all be done soon into the new year with luck and then would be happy to meet up.
Cheers Dave

There's a lack of interest in every cruise it seems Gaz.

Thanks Kim, I trust the shakedown is progressing well and the hard work put in throughout the build is paying off.

As to the lack of interest in the cruise; I fully understand that Plymouth is a long way down to travel to then freeze your butt off on the river.  It is however well worth it as the Tamar is as picturesque in winter as it is in summer. The pub even more a welcome sight this time of year and well placed to thaw out in.

Kairos shakedown still not yet complete Gaz so we won't make it this year :(  This is a shame we had superb day out when we went last time. If anyone is "dithering" - go for it! It's a superb cruising area. We will be down for sure sometime this year...

Looks like it's going to be a solo effort then...

I visit that one occasionally, It's even in my bookmarks  :)
Loads of info in there to waste an afternoon over, It just lacks a decent map showing locations, especially the foreshore ones that we can get to.

While this thread is on the 'Front Page' anyone else coming out for a festive chilly but fun day on the Tamar? It;s probably the last chance to go cruising this year (unless you JR and get out almost every day lol)

Gee this efficiency is mind boggling Gaz.
Thank you for your efforts.
Is THIS a record----more than ONE year in advance?- though I would personally avoid suggesting you are "premature". :-\ :-*
